Mobiles
Made primarily with found, natural materials, my sculptures come together slowly. I collect each component over time, often on long walks on the North Fork of Long Island, where my family and I have rented a house seasonally for years. For the mobiles, sometimes I spend weeks looking for a particular object to achieve the proper balance—both literal and figurative. The floor works are newer aspect of my practice, and incorporating steel and stone is becoming a primary element in my sculpture.
